Clinix Health Group is very proudly "of, for and by the community". Prior to South Africa's democracy, there were few places where black specialists could practise. By setting up private hospitals based in the very communities they serve, Clinix Health Group has been able to give specialist doctors the ideal base from which to operate. In addition, 95% of our nursing, cleaning and administration staff are members of these communities, with over 90% of the group's employees being female.

The communities surrounding Clinix hospitals have benefited greatly from the group's presence. They have access to quality private healthcare and services of top specialists. They also enjoy spin-offs that have had a tremendously positive effect on local economies such as employment and development, particularly since the Group sources most products and services from local enterprises.
